Hi there, I’m Aaron Hockley. I create photographs, memories, and stories using a photojournalistic style. What does that mean? I prefer capturing natural action as it happens rather than staging and posing the world.
After several years of photography as a hobby, I began doing business as Hockley Photography in early 2008. Based near Portland, Oregon, I work with a variety of businesses and individuals to tell their stories in imagery. My clients include high-tech conferences, theater-style speaking events, fundraising parties, a medical office, a multi-billion dollar communications company, a leader in the cloud hosting market, and a variety of individuals and couples.
My goal is to know my clients and create images which help tell their story. Each client is unique and I bring my technical and artistic skills to your situation.
When not creating images for clients, I enjoy creating fine art photography. Some of my subjects include Railroading and Abstract night images. In November 2011, I published Alcatraz Views, a collection of images and stories from “The Rock.”
